Beetle Farmer Workshops

for Purple Loosestrife Biological Control

Three Beetle Farmer Workshops are being offered by the University of Connecticut in March and April.  The public is invited to attend a workshop to learn how to raise beneficial beetles to control the invasive wetland plant purple loosestrife.  Raising beetles for biological control of purple loosestrife is an exciting opportunity for individual, family, and community involvement.  To learn more about becoming a Beetle Farmer, please attend one of the Beetle Farmer Workshops:
