New Fee Schedule for Diagnostic Services

As of January 2006, the UConn Home and Garden Education Center will charge the following fee for services performed in laboratory or office:

  • Weed or Insect Identification:  $10.00
  • Volume Discount (3 or more samples):  $25.00
  • Disease Identification:  $15.00

Fees are cumulative.  Fees will be collected when the sample is brought to the lab.  You will be invoiced (billed) when you mail a sample.

Diagnostic services are available free of charge at every county Cooperative Extension Center and the Bartlett Arboretum.  Master Gardeners will assist you with your pest identication and provide control options as well.  Please contact your local Cooperative Extension Center for the times and availability of a Master Gardener.
