Knowledge to Grow On:  Successful Seed Starting

Growing plants from seeds is not only economical but also a wonderful way to add little known and unique flowers and vegetables to your garden beds. Starting heirloom vegetables, antique flowers, and interesting perennials and bulbs will be discussed along with hands-on seed planting and transplanting. Everyone will go home with seedlings.  Discover the pleasures of successful seed starting. The seminar will be held March 8th from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at Auer Farm in Bloomfield, CT. $50 fee.
